Non-violent bank robbery

A simple remedy when short of cash.

With the last of your funds, purchase a gross of candlesticks and half a kilo (at least) of sulphur, and a gas mask.

Sneak into bank at a busy time with a carrier bag, a cooking stove, an old iron pan, candlesticks (now finely grated) and sulphur.

In a quiet corner, heat the sulphur and candlesticks in pan on the stove.

Put on gas mask.

Within a short period of time, the whole bank will smell of extremely rotten eggs and staff and customers will rush for exit.

Collect money in the carrier bag and leave quietly.
